    I have 10 years of experience helping children, families, and individuals manage emotions, challenge negative thinking patterns, improve relationship skills, and reduce life stressors. I am passionate about guiding people to develop a greater self-awareness and teaching tools to pursue specific goals.

    I have been a practicing social worker for 5 years providing individual and couples therapy for adults with various mental health and substance use needs. I use a person-centered approach with evidenced-based therapeutic interventions including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

    I have been a social worker and therapist for 14 years which has provided me the opportunity to work with many people that come with a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. Much of my work has been with individuals and families facing extreme challenges that come from serious illness and supporting ways in which our physical, emotional, and mental health are interconnected.

    I provide acceptance, empathy, compassion and respect which helps others to feel safe and empowered in their journey towards self-acceptance, personal growth, and wellness. I explore how thoughts and messages affect our feelings and actions and how we often get stuck of patterns of behaviors, even when they don’t work for us anymore. I enjoy working with clients through the lens of Holistic Mental Health and exploring how to movement, sleep, diet and social connection can manage mental health symptoms.
