I provide acceptance, empathy, compassion and respect which helps others to feel safe and empowered in their journey towards self-acceptance, personal growth, and wellness. I use an integrative approach incorporating Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing and mindfulness-based strategies, as well as trauma processing techniques for those who could benefit from this.
I attended Indiana University Bloomington and graduated with a Masters in Counseling in 2001. Moving to Los Angeles, I worked with at-risk youth and families, as well as adults with various mental health disorders. I also assisted new therapists in starting their careers by providing supervision regarding difficult cases.
In 2015, I returned to Indiana with my husband and three children to continue my work with children, adolescents, families and adults.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana, and am a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP).
